In terms of palatability red meat just doesn't cut it for me, unless its prime fillet steak. so I doubt I could ever eat it in excess as I am a student and can't afford prime fillet steak very often. I prefer roast chicken and fish red meat.

I did briefly in the fall of 2007, got hair loss from thyroid damage.
i usually eat red meat at every meal, between 4-10 oz at a sitting. a few meals per week, i'll eat pork or chicken instead. i've only had 3 heart attacks, so i think i'm doing just fine. ;)
I love me some red meat. I put away a lb, to a 1.5lbs/day.
