yes, the most stressful thing about having a house on the market is having to clean it up. I remember a summer when my mom and dad were working -- i was about 12 -- and my job was to keep the house tidy and ready for showing, thenb e there to answer the phone and clear out when a showing was coming. I would take my sister and our cat and go across the street and up a tree. LOL This way, I could still see when someone left, and could go back home and do whatever we were doing.
Yep. The deadline for offers is this afternoon. We have two good ones so far with two others coming in. At least this is going forward.
Can't wait to hear about how this plays out (and then your new place)! Do we wish you "good luck" for this kind of thing? :)
I think you live under a lucky star where things move very smoothly for you. :)

Sure, I guess there is a certain element of luck involved but now comes that part where the negotiating skill of my brokers comes into play. There are two offers kicking around right now.
Happy Valentine's Day, Beautiful Lady!
Happy Valentine's Day, Beautiful Lady![/QUOTE]Thanks, Paula. Same to you and the hubby.
Well, it's official. As of yesterday I am in escrow. From here it takes about a month. Minor details like termite inspections, etc.
Not only that but I got the top end of my asking range!!!!!!!! Happy Dance!!!!!!!!!
The other thing that has me doing the Happy Dance is that I had a checkup with my oncologist who told me that this marks five years post treatment for my breast cancer. The little celebration I had last summer was only five years post-diagnosis. Post-treatment is what evidently matters to the oncology statisticians. At this point my risk of getting cancer is, statistically speaking, almost back to that of any other person walking by.
What is really cool is now I can stop taking the hormone blocker pill. It will be interesting to see if that has any effect on my metabolism. In any case, one less pill in my life is a good thing.
Life is Gooooooooood!!!!!!!!!!! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awesome news all around! Congratulations on the sale & the all-clear!
Amazing, AMAZING, news!
What a wonderful Valentine's Day! :o
