Cloudy and 70s here with expected high >80.
You did excellent over the holiday! Pat yourself on the back for me! :) And the snow ---- beautiful! I have a strong love/hate relationship with snow! I LOVE seeing it fall --- but hate schlepping through it! If it could fall and never stick I'd be a happy girl.
I need a bit of your encouragement and uplifting now as the weekend is over and its time to get back to business. I did very well on food........ but somehow a cheesecake found its way into our fridge....... as did a bottle of rum. Oh dear. My only cheats all weekend!
Poking my head in to say 'hi'.

I am patting myself... Somehow? Hubby's doing? I hope you scraped the crumbs off the cheesecake, at least. Or does graham not give you fibro?

Hi back. :)
I've decided to do an Intense7 (can't call it Whole, because I'm not cutting dairy). I would like to knock off two, at most three pounds by Christmas, and would prefer to get it done over the next week. I haven't been good about this kind of thing for that long a stretch for a while, so let's see how I do. My rules: no sugars, not even the kosher kind. Stevia is okay, but no maple syrup, honey, or even dried fruits. Fruit in moderation, like only one piece a day. That part won't be hard; I rarely get carried away in that department, especially in winter. Only tiny amounts of starchy vegetables like sweet potatoes, carrots, beets. No white potatoes or rice. No pigging out. Try to put breakfast off until noon, so I can have only two meals in the day. A bed-time snack is permissible if my tummy will keep me awake otherwise.
I decided this after breakfast, so I'll carry this through till next Monday noon. Breakfast would have been close: Greek yogurt, blackberries, seeds, and macadamias, but there was about a teaspoon or so of maple syrup in there.
As befits any serious attempt to lose weight, I started with something of a feast. ;) Leftover pork liver with bacon and onions, roasted acorn squash, seasoned and dotted with butter, and a green salad (lettuce, microgreens, and red pepper) with home-made mayo. Judg Fudg with stevia and coconut extract for dessert with black coffee. My fat creds are good, every single one of those items included some form of fat. No sugar. The piece of pork liver was a little on the large side, but not excessive.
I'm going to try to do my resistance band routine once my late lunch has had time to settle. I'm still a little draggy from the weekend, although much better than yesterday.
So keep me accountable, people. Throw rotten eggs if I cheat.
You're plan sounds very similar to mine! :) 'Cept I'm doing a 14 day strict Paleo/Primal. No potatos of any kind. I do have a couple kinds of squash on the counter - so those will be allowed - cuz I couldn't bare having them go bad and havin to throw them out. No alcohol, No sugar, No grains of any kinds. Walk DAILY! I need to get back on schedule with my weight loss plans!!!
We're gonna do this!!! :) You can do it - you've done so great!!! :)

No, wishing for seasons.........
I have set out some virtual eggs, ready for throwing, so be on your toes!
LOL@Sabine.
I had two TicTacs today while I was out, because my mouth was dry. Does that warrant an egg?
Other than that, I've been very good. Some kefir last night before bed, perhaps 6 oz.
Breakfast today was a banana-blueberry smoothie with eggs, seeds, walnuts, and kefir.
Some mixed nuts and olives before heading out the door and some more nuts part way through the afternoon.
Two small lamburgers, more squash, and another green salad (big) for supper.
Tomi, how is squash not primal? They've got it in recipes on MDA all the time. I know it's not a super-vegetable like broccoli or peppers, but it's still perfectly respectable, as far as I know.
Kathi, I hear you about seasons. I would really hate to give them up, even winter.
A miracle happened today. I was out to get my passport renewed, and the picture was actually flattering! The one from five years ago looked like I'd been hauled into a police station for public intoxication, or something. Worst picture of me ever, I think. It was nice to have it go the other way this time. And I feel much better having a piece of picture ID that actually looks like me. All of my ID's were pre-weight loss and the resemblance is getting less and less obvious. Makes me nervous that I'll get challenged every time I haul them out. (Ran into another neighbour-acquaintance today. She didn't recognize me... Granted, I was wearing a hat.)

Your Intense7, Sabine's Basic28
Hmm, I need a catchy Paris/Barcelona name...

OK, remember, you asked!

Two eggs!

Excellent!
I know, Passport and Driver's License photos are terrible! In my driver's photo I have short straight hair and no glasses. Doesn't look like me at all. I have to renew my Passport in the next couple of weeks too.
*dodges eggs* Yikes! No mercy from this crowd.
I came home from my running around yesterday pretty wiped, and it seems to be carrying over into today. :( So I had breakfast, because I need all the help I can get. My Greek yogurt concoction, but with stevia instead of maple syrup. Now I have to find the balance between the rest I obviously need and the things that really need to get done. Rats.
