BW Cat seems to be all better. At least he is eating and acting normally. One of the cats apparently tried to bring up a hairball and failed. (No more details) I hope it is all okay, but I am glad to see signs that it is a hairball and things are progressing.
The pork is really, really good. I highly recommend it. Also the squash with browned butter and sage. One of those recipes where 2+2 = 12. I had a delicata squash - just baked it, fried sage leaves in butter and poured over the squash - oh yeah yeah! Also put cumin on the squash. I have finally found a use for cumin! Never have really liked the stuff despite it's trendiness these days. But it was great on the squash.
Throw it in, Judy! Don't listen to its siren song! It's the road to haitch! Be strong like David, throw it away.
I'm making pork today, the recipe from last Sunday. Seems appropriate for an overcast Sunday. A little chilly, but not bad. I'm relieved, to be honest. I just want to hang out, not do anything.
OK, found it, called it Nasty and tossed.
Sure hope Superstorm Sandy misses your little corner of the country.
Thank you, Judg! You are very, very kind. I often think I go too far here in revealing stuff!
Well no, I am not kind at all. It was just the truth. And while I have a great deal of respect for the theology of sin, there is also room for the theology of rejoicing. Not very sophisticated, but it goes something like this:
This is the day that the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. Psalm 118:24
Be joyful at your feast... Deut. 14:16
For everything God created is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving. I Tim. 4:4
So go ahead and rejoice.

That is beautiful, I will!
Another weird thing that probably nobody wants to hear about - last week when I had my carbohydrate frenzy, I definitely got smelly. No that I have got the carbs under control, I don't smell any more!

I've noticed the same thing and I don't have to wash my hair as often.

My hair stays remarkably clean these days. I'm really liking that. Now that I am swimming a lot, I rarely take showers at home - almost always at the pool. Think of the money I am saving on hot water!
BW Cat didn't eat this evening. :(

May you find a hair ball in the morning!

+1 on the hairball!! Lol, glad you are getting your money's worth out of your trips to the pool! Not many veggies are not simply great with butter melted over them!
-
Hope your cat gets better!
Yeah, I definitely think the carbs have something to do with stinkiness! I'm not missing it.
Garlic still gets through though. LOL!

Well here's hoping that your cat is better and that all you see of Sandy is a gentle rain.
Starting to blow down here! Still have power. Yay!
