A celebration of the potential of human life
I tend to lurk a bit because I've only been on the wagon here for about 3 months. But when I found out that one of my favorite docs at the hospital had passed away, I had to post it on here. I thought this guy was incredible when I first met him 25 years ago. I remember thinking man, he's probably about ready to retire. Surely he can't climb many more mountains...
Up until last week at 82 years old, he was still seeing patients. Still going on incredible hikes, kayak trips, and in general making me look like a slug. I've never met another person so devoted to enjoying life than this man. Read his writeup in the seattle times here:
