Primal Journal - Lizard
I've been following the Primal blueprint for 2 weeks.
More details about myself;
Women (32 years) Very active
SW 130lbs / Height 5.4f (previous weight 121lbs in March 2011)
GW 121lbs (And to avoid cheese (my down fall) and nuts as much as possible)
I haven't been eating red meat & eggs for 20 years (only fish & chicken) and started to add eggs to my diet again about 6mnths ago and the last 15 years I NO FAT in my diet like olive oil, avo & nuts....
For 4 years I maintained a ideal weight of 121lbs and felt great and had great muscle definition. Since a 1 year ago I started gaining weight, discovered I had a underative thyroid (low T3) and got medication Diotroxin but didn't feel much better since using it and gained 9lbs. Had another blood test 3 mnths ago and Thyroid seems normal but my testosterone levels are very low for a women my age and my brain hormone also low.
Results so far;
Energy bunny & feeling great
Less water retension
Less IBS (if I avoid nuts)
AND AND AND much more...
I been wheat & soda free for two weeks, but still enjoy my diary and my red wine.
Fat - 47.8%
Pro - 35.2%
Carb - 17% (A bit high, cause I only had dinner yesterday after feeling VERY ILL from coffee with CREAM the morning uuhhh)
I had a hard week of exercise behind me, so I only had a 45min walk today with our dog.
B: x2 Hard boiled eggs with tomato salsa, coconut oil & green beans
L: Grilled Chicken breast (coconut oil) celery, red pepper & a tiny bit mozzerella.
D X2 Egg omelet, spinash, onion & tomato and left over salmon.
No more insomnia yeah, I had 7 hours off sleep straight through the night and I could actually get into bed again for slept for another 2 hours. My plans was to get up early to go horseriding, pooring with rain outside and decided to stay at home.
Later going out for lunch with my hubby.
Didn't feel like eating much protein & fat this morning so I only had;
B: yougart & apple
We had a lovely lunch out this afternoon after a relaxing morning at home. (Except for the 3 dogs (terriers) that discovered a rat in the garage and had to witness the kill eiiiiihh) and yes I still had a appetite lunch time.
The menu the rest of the day:
L: Thandoori Hake with Pesto cream & Feta sauce and 1/2 cup veggies. (DIVINE didn't think hake can taste that super)
S: 2 Tomato slices with 1 slice mozzerella
D: Grilled Tuna steak (Marinade coconut oil & chilli pesto)with mushrooms (butter) and 1/2 cup lettuce, onion, 1/2 avo (mayonaise).
Fat - 47.4%
Pro - 32.3%
Carb - 20.3%
Consumed: 1,221 cal
Exercise today 45min walk with the dog and 40min Crossfit mix (40 pull-ups, 100 squats, 40 push-ups, X2 90sec planks, 40 side lunges and a few others) & Tracey Andersons abs workout.
Hope the weather clears a bit tomorrow so I can go ride my horse, (before he goes insane from 2 day of no work) :)

Had a awesome hack with my horse this morning (90min fast one & he was very good behaved after 2 days no work) and did some grocery shopping.

L: X2 Egg omelet, kale, mushrooms, pepper & butter
Want to do my interval workout (20min) this afternoon & a conditioning exercise.
Since I been following Primal (and feeling ill of the cream in my coffee for B) I've been getting stomach cramps if I consume yougart..... Milk in my coffee and cheese are still fine.
That's one thing that I hate about public holidays - late afternoon snack attacks and didn't feel like doing exercise after that uhhh, but I did have a easy move hack this morning.
S: Almond butter, yougart, pinenuts & honey (uhhh afterwards)
D: Chicken breast with lemon juice & brocelli, baby marrow & onion

Carb - 17.7%
I haven't had so much calories in a long time.....

Up early and a have a very busy day ahead with all my shipments/orders coming in. Whole30 starts today.
