Weighed in and lost! Only 500g which I realise is nothing and probably more indicative of my stomach contents but it felt good to see a number lower than last time.
Dinner last night was the old faithful eggs and veges after coming home late from booty. 1/2 pear for dessert.
Breakdown for Tuesday:
Carbs: 70g or 26%
Fat: 56g or 45%
Protein: 80g or 29%
Result! You never know things may be turning around for you!
I hope so Lucy! I'm excited to see what another two weeks might show. I'm even more convinced of primal than I was before having now read through alot more of Mark's blogs. I haven't got the PB book yet, only because I don't want to spend the money but am thinking its time I ordered it because I intend for this to be a long term thing not a flash in the pan kinda thing. Have you got the book? Does it have much more than what is on MDA? My PT is VERY sceptical of it. I really respect her and her knowledge but just can't fault the little benefits I've seen and all the success stories. It's amazing the results some people have had.
I have the book and really like it. I think you can find everything in past blogs but it's nice to have for a quick reference.
Sweet! Good to know. Might put it off again then.
Haven't written up for a few days so here goes! I've had a relatively good week, made the gym in the morning twice and am feeling energetic if not a little lightheaded. Looking forward to my weekend.
Breakfast: mixed veges with butter and an egg.
Morning Tea: tomato and onion tuna, red capsicum and celery sticks.
Lunch: lemon pepper tuna with mixed large salad.
Dinner: beef bolognaise with mixed steamed veges
Went to an enjo party and am pleased to say that I ate only grapes, a little camembert and only a single taste of some caramel and chocolate from a half piece of caramel slice. :D
Boxing class in the morning. Felt really energised and happy.
Breakfast: beef bolognaise with mixed veges and an egg.
Morning tea: leg ham with capsicum, celery sticks and a boiled egg.
Lunch: tuna with a large salad.
Dinner: beef bolognaise, steamed veges and an egg. :D
Dessert:mixed berries with thickened cream and cocoa.
Just love eggs. :D
So proud of myself today! Sat through both morning team and lunch with cakes and chips and chocolates and I didn't taste a bite. So pleased and made me feel so good.
Breakfast: mixed steamed veggies with some leg ham - ran out of eggs!
Morning Tea: tomato and onion tuna, 2 slices of bacon with red capsicum and celery sticks.
Lunch: ham and salad
Dinner: went and got eggs! Steamed veges, whole grain mustard, butter, some more ham and 2 eggs. :D
Dessert: mixed berries, desiccated coconut, cocoa and some thickened cream.
1315 calories - whoops! Too many extras.
Carbs: 141g woah!
Well. Looking at that breakdown I've possibly undone the good work of the past two days. Dang! We will see...
Hey - I have the book but that primal montana was right, there's not much more to it than the website. If anything I'd get the cookbook before the blueprint. Also, one day of high carbs won't undo the past days good work ;)
Boot camp in the morning followed by a very full day out. Managed to make good choices food wise and didn't suffer too much.
Skipped breakfast with boot camp and then gettin out the door.
Lunch: sumo salad- food court options???, 1/2 serving of a pesto and chicken leafy salad and 1/2 serving of a beetroot and pumpkin leafy salad.
Dinner: ate at Mums, braised beef casserole with pumpkin, broccoli and snow peas.
Snacks: sundries tomatoes, boiled egg
Dessert: dark chocolate nibs with coconut, 4 dates, a banana and a little thickened cream. Yummy!!
Unsure of the breakdown but probably only a little over my intended 1200.
Sunday. Was a write off. Terrible self control. Went to a friends baby shower and ate a-lot of cheeses, salami and ham from the antipasto platters and then decided to have one, just one slice of fancy cake which turned messy around the third helping. Whoops!! No alcohol or other grains, dairy or sugar filled things so hopefully, even though it was a terrible terrible way to let go that might be it. Fingers crossed....
Sugar is ridiculous. I can't believe how easily it breaks down all my barriers and walls and self control.
Breakfast: an egg with veges (silverbeet, pumpkin, tomato, zucchini and carrot).
Morning Tea: red capsicum, tomato and onion tuna, boiled egg, celery sticks.
Lunch: ham and medium salad (cos lettuce, capsicum, tomato, carrot)
Mess ups: slice of mixed berry cheesecake, tiny cupcake, slice of chocolate cake. Meh. Sugar is addictive. So disappointed.
Exercise: 3k time trial.
Dinner: yet to decide.
Hopefully hold out from cravings. I really hope.
