I made this for my kids last night for dessert. I left out the raisins and added a handful of blackberries we bought at the farmers market and it was delish! They asked for it for breakfast and I scored major points letting them have "dessert" for breakfast. This morning I added one chopped date to the bowl (was doubling the recipe), then topped with the blackberries a handful of slivered almonds, and a tsp of coconut sugar.
Made this today. Amaziiiiing!

Just a quick question though, I take it capital 'T' means tablespoon, and small 't' means teaspoon?

I used the calculator at SparkPeople to do the math. It should be worth about 15 carbs (4 fiber, 8 sugar). Mileage may vary.
I am concerned with cooking flax meal. Am I wrong in thinking flax should not be cooked if you want to preserve the omega 3 content and minimize oxidation to flax seeds/oil?
