The primal bakery is going to happen anyway :) at least for now. It's something I was planning to do from my home kitchen anyway, and keep it low profile, not a real shop.
I'm glad you have enough energy now, to do something you love that you were stopped from before. That's what good health is all about!
sounds like fun! :)
Got a call from the owner of my CrossFit box, they're hosting the Lowlands Throwdown this weekend and asked me if I could bake some goodies to serve with the coffee! I suggested my fabulous brownies (with walnuts and dried cherries and lots of good quality chocolate and butter :) ) and almond-apple muffins. Looks like I'll be baking on Friday!
yummy!
Oooh, apple-almond muffins. Love the sound of that. I've made carrot and banana, but not apple. Do you use apple sauce or fresh apples?
Candy, how wonderful that you are able to think of doing something that you have always wanted to, but couldn't due to your health. Awesome! Your baked goodies sound delicious indeed.

These ones were with apple slices on top, but I've made muffins with applesauce in the past. The muffins and brownies were succes :) . I also baked a pumpkin cake for the kids, testing a new recipe. The first version wasn't great, but now it's lots better :) .
I have ordered a logo for my bakery-website yesterday! And I was asked by the owner of my CrossFit gym to do weekly guestposts with a recipe on their website :o , with links to my website (in the making) so more people get to know it. They are also very active on Facebook and are currently organizing some health challenges (food ànd sports-related) and they reallly appreciate the food advice I give :) . The daughter of DS3's godmother works in a hospital where they treat people with fybromialgia and CFS, I did some therapies there when I was ill. They also have a 'course' informing people with these problems how to listen to your body, and give food advice as well. She asked me if I would be available to come and talk about how I kicked fybro's ass with food in that course. SURE! If I can help only ONE person, I'll be happy!
So many good things are coming my way. I don't know what I did to deserve this and am kind of scared it's too good to be true. But I'm taking these opportunities with both hands! And I try to share the good vibes with other people too :) .
So, the first entry is on the website :) . It's in Dutch, but if you would like to see, this is the link ;) CrossFit AntwerpenCrossFit Antwerpen
And just so nobody gets too jealous, not all is good, my back is killing me and I still can't sit for more than 5 minutes :( . And being on my feet the whole day results in painful feet at the end of the day  .
