You know you're committed when...
1. You put in a vegetable garden.
2. Buy a bigger refrigerator to hold all your Primal goodies.
That's what I did this weekend.
Friday, I transplanted all of my veggies into the ground. My neighbor tilled a 3x3 foot spot for me so I could put my veggies in the ground with hopes that I'll get a better yield than I do having them in pots. Hopefully it works.
Then I planted something like 54 flowers in the containers that held my veggies. My deck is a nice little garden now. It's got violets, geraniums, salvia, and some kind of cute flower that opens and closes with the sun. Also a Gerber Daisy and a Mum. I secured my Shepherd's hook to the deck so I can have my bird feeders up there instead of down lower. I have a finch feeder and a hummingbird feeder. Hoping to get some action on them soon. If it wasn't so unbelievably hot and unshaded on our deck, we might actually use it... *sigh*
Yesterday, DH and I went to Lowe's and got a bigger fridge. Our 21 cubic foot side by side fridge just wasn't cutting it. We can't put anything big in there b/c it's not wide enough. Nothing about it is big enough, really. We have so many primal goodies packed into it that things go bad before I notice b/c I can't see anything. Things fall out everytime we reach in for something (especially in the freezer). And 4 gallons of milk take up a LOT of room. So, we ordered a new fridge. This is the one we got: fridge. I won't get it until the 1st, which is a bummer, but it's one they normally have in stock, but didn't yesterday (unless I wanted a damaged one - um no). She said it would be a week before they get anymore in, and then they only deliver to our area on Fridays... Stupid, but it's free... what can ya do...
This morning I feel like crap b/c I didn't get to eat right away when taking my vitamins... So my tummy is upset by the large quantity of nutrients with no food to dilute them... But, I'm starting to feel a little better after eating, so I think I'll survive.
Tired today... sleepy tired - not run down tired. I think I fell asleep about 10 pm on the couch last night. DD woke me up at 11:30 (at least I think she did... when I went to her room, she was sleeping, but I swear I heard her fuss), and then went to bed. Kids both slept the rest of the night through - DS even slept in his bed the whole night! It got cold in our house last night (dropped to 64 degrees when I got up at 6), so maybe they didn't wake up b/c they entered a hibernation mode! lol Whatever the reason, they slept in their own beds and it was nice!!
Scale read 206.2 this morning... I am knocking on 205's door... I bet I'm there before Friday. :)
It sure was nice waking up to a number on the scale on Monday that was smaller than the number on the scale on Friday... weekends are usually the other way around for me.
I'm gonna go walk around. I hope everyone's having a good Monday so far. Mine is a sleepy one. *yawn*
