Fishin... that is all. Have a nice day everyone.
Sunburn... that is all...
I'll post pics later of both the sunburn and the fish we caught.
Brad's 1st fish:
My 2nd fish:
and my sunburn... oy.
Nice fish! And for the sunburn: loooots of coconut oil!
5 mile run done. Now off to the lake to fish with the kids... at the height of naptime... oops. Lol

Won't that hold the heat in like lotion does?
Oh and both of the fish pictured had bellies FULL of eggs. If I was a true Primal, I would have kept them too. But I'm not... ;)
Ouch! Keep some aloe gel in the fridge :D
Coconut oil sinks in pretty quickly so I think you'll probably just have to use a lot to keep the skin moisturized.
Sunburn is reaching the itchy stage...
Dairy consumption is wrecking my life... ok, not that severely, but it's definitely annoying. I have zips popping up on my face and chest, my nose is dry stuffy, and my eyes are developing more goop when I sleep than usual - usual being ZERO goop. I'm going to make chicken cordon bleu casserole this week and then it's off to No Dairy Land again.
Despite my weekend of poor food choices, I did not gain any weight. Still at 177/178. This I find to be surprising, but welcomed at the same time.
Foot: I have no idea what's going on with this thing. One moment it hurts like a son of a bitch, and then the next it's fine. Brad is picking up both the kids tonight so I'm tempted to make an appointment with the Princess of Pain to have her work on it again. I'd even be willing to burn up some sick leave for this appointment. I think I might make it for 4 pm and leave at 3:45 or so today. This is ridiculous. I know it's nerve related by how it feels. And Dr. Lake has told me time and time again that I can run through nerve pain b/c the foot itself is not injured, so I'll pop some ibuprofen, head out for my run this afternoon, and then see her later, I think. Hopefully she has an opening. Nope... no openings today. Had to take the 12:00 opening tomorrow. I have to be careful how often I see her. I only have 20 visits per year that are covered by insurance.
CPT Hot Stuff has decided he is going to get out of the army. He's talking to a retired general today or tomorrow about taking a job with his consulting firm. When CPT Hot Stuff drops his "I'm getting the fug out" paperwork depends on whether or not the general will hire him and when he would start. Such a bummer. I can't believe that it came to this.
New boss starts tomorrow. They're kind of working a transition right now, but b/c the new boss is not yet the commander, there is a lot of stuff he cannot do - like command. CPT Hot Stuff has kind of been his escort for this transition period - it's a good job for him. He's a very personable, friendly, professional guy. So, yeah, life will get interesting tomorrow... not sure what working for the new boss will be like and it's kind of got me anxious. COL H has always been my boss and now he's leaving - and most likely I'll never see him again... I know that I had some issues with COL H, but he's a pretty laid back guy - comfortable, easy to get along with, doesn't ask for much... I hope the new guy is just as easy.
