Okay, so a progress update at the 2-month mark as promised. Feeling really good generally. Stats on weight, measurements and workout have improved. Not to sure if this really translates in the pictures. Sometimes I look at them and think, yeah, I'm getting there. Other times I think it looks like nothings changed. Thanks. I certainly feel tighter, and so do my t-shirts. Not expecting drastic results after 2 months, I'm in this for the long haul, so I'm pretty happy with things so far. Looking forward to raising the bar in March.

Definitely seeing progress! Awesome job, mate!

Thanks for the encouragement thp. Looks like you've done an awesome job yourself, judging from your signature stats. Impressive.

All good on the exercise front yesterday. New PBs on bench, pull ups and squats. March hasn't been the greatest month from a food perspective. Been more 70/30 than 80/20, but generally not too bad. About to make a 4-hour beef stew with a heap of chuck steak and loads of veg, so that should make me feel good. Probably gonna have to eat about 5 portions of it, as weight gain has almost come to a standstill. 0.5lb in 3 weeks. Time to eat like I've never eaten before!
Also this month I've been totally coffee-free and am feeling better for it. Managed to save about $40 so far from not buying my daily coffee too. Everyone's a winner!

Today's workout...
Deadlift 100lb 8,8,9
Pull Ups (32lb assist) 8,8,9
Bench Press 88lb 8,8,6
Will be upping weight on Deads and Pull Ups next time around.
Today's PWO meal: 5 chicken drumsticks roasted with fennel seeds, and a salad of spinach, tomato, red pepper, roast butternut squash and brie with olive oil & pepper. Nice.

So I'm doing a Leangains-style 16/8 fasting period today. It wasn't deliberate, I've just not had time to eat until now. Felt really hungry this morning until about 10 o'clock, then the hunger just disappeared. I've had 2 cups of green tea since waking. Gonna break the fast around 2pm so just half an hour to go. I may add this approach on a regular basis if it works out, I've been reading about the benefits of IF a bit recently. I'm a bit skeptical that I'll be able to eat 3000kcal of primal foods in just an 8-hour window without my stomach exploding, but we'll see.
