I had 65+ gm protein instead of 50 yesterday and today. Could have eaten another meal just as large, honestly. Had a 7pm "dinner's not ready and I'm super stressed" fruit-and-yogurt attack last night, but it was very self-limited to just about one serving of each, thankfully.

So far, the difference between before I started the LR & now:
-I was gaining then; am at a weight standstill since then
-almost always going to sleep quickly, sleeping soundly till morning (but NOT refreshed)
-many days of zombie-level fatigue compared to before
-no desire to snack at all
-don't need to eat a ton at L or D most of the time
-sometimes sugar cravings are killed dead; most of the time they're at least ignorable
-skin is softer than ever

Don't know yet, Karin. I dno't feel any fuller, don't think I feel any less hungry the rest of the day, but I'm 3 days in. I don't yet know if I'm even getting the benefit of the protein since I'm not yet HCL-maxed, but I can hope!

DaddyGrok has been out of town for the last two nights. This is the first time EVER that he's been away that I didn't stay up later and later each night. I'm so dang ready for bed by 10pm I can hardly make it to my usual goal of 10:30! This is strange indeed - and very, very welcome.

I think I saw the peek into energyland today. Now, I've had it a few times this year already and it disappeared, but I always have hope. Then this evening, dd went berserk in a restaurant (the toddler, not the teenager) and I had to choose my food (from a salad buffet, which should have been ideal for finding good things, but not under these circumstances) very hastily and grumpily and shove it down and get out of the restaurant so everyone else could eat in peace (dh was out of town and the rest of the kids needed to eat still, buffet, so couldn't get a to-go box for all our food and eat at home).
So cortisol, almost certainly too many PUFAs, and probably a bit over 50g carbs, for sure. Felt bloated, but then better later. I ended up telling my kids stories - I was so happy. I haven't had the energy to tell stories (not even well-known ones, much less made up ones) for literally years. Too mentally draining. I told stories!
Otherwise, eating was very good today. No binge, for sure, probably <<100g carbs. Bit of wheat, bit of sugar, too many PUFAs. Plenty of vitamin D, though - even got mildly pink in the Yellow Jacket sun!
