Food OCT 18
Breakfast- Glass of iced tea (I should make note that I've been making this iced tea myself and that it's not some store bought sugary crap) + Supplements (2tbsp mct, 3000mg salmon oil, 2x cal mag tabs)
Lunch- Black coffee
Snack- 1 cup of hot beef broth
Dinner- 4 meat cups, 2 pickles
Dessert- 1 square lindt dark 90%
So I come out of my room this morning and there is some weird asian guy sleeping on my couch. I can only assume guest of the room mate but still threw me off guard...
I'm starting to notice now that I have a cycle going at work that my ghrellin is starting to bubble earlier in the day. After a week of fasting at work It'll be good to start bringing lunch and whatnot. All in good time :) It's the last day of my first week at work. I'm praying it goes well. There's already been some bumps in my moral being at this job but I thank god that I have it. It's much better than waiting for a job!

Hmm, thinking of this leptin reset thing. Maybe I can do it even with my schedule. In fact, my schedule might be conducive to leptin resetting. I'll do some reading.

I was wondering about that iced tea, actually. But not too much. I figured you wouldn't be mainlining crap.
Now you have me intrigued about the "bumps" at work. But it's probably not a good idea to get too specific online...

Food for october 19th

Snack- 1 meat cup, half apple, 30 pistachios
Dinner- 1 cornish hen, 1 chicken thigh
Dessert- 2 squares lindt dark 90%
Late night- 2 glasses of 40 creek whiskey

I know you put this somewhere, but how do you make your meat cups? Do you just season some ground meat and bake it? Do you put egg in it?
Your post about finding a guy on your couch reminds me of many, many moons ago when I woke up one morning and bumped into a guy wearing black leather from head to toe coming out of the bathroom. My housemate's guest, of course. She could really pick 'em! Talk about the walk of shame - going home on the subway at 7 AM all in leather -

The meat cups are essentially any meatloaf recipe put into a muffin tray. I found them good as a quick grab and go (similar to really any meal made into a muffin cup). I like doing eggs too and full on omelets as well. These ones were pork and beef, egg, coconut flour, tomato paste and spices. :)
So yesterday was a bit of a gorge fest of a day. about 95% paleo... so here goes
Breakfast- Eggs benny on tomato and fries from the baur kitchen. Black coffee on the side (obv, the vegtable oil is not paleo)
Lunch- 2 chicken thighs and some veggies, dark chocolate after
Mid afternoon black coffee
Dinner- @ Nick and Nat's Uptown 21
Course 1: 1/2 portion of duck con feit with pecans and walnuts, 1 bite of frois gras in philo (philo being the non paleo aspect)
Course 2: Salad with goat cheese
Course 3: 4 spoons of strawberry and raspberry sorbet (as a pallet cleanser)
Course 4: (only ate about half), Massive pork chop, smoked sausage (about half the size of a regular sausage), and a mix of ham pieces, sour krout, potatos, and apple.
All in all I'd say it's the most I've eaten in a long time but no regrets! It was all soo good! :D

Started the leptin reset yesterday... feels like a lot of food but it feels good. Hopefully when all is said and done I can start shedding again
Food for Oct 22nd
Breakfast- 2 jumbo brown eggs (I made 4... only could make my way through 2), 7 small slices of bacon, 1 large chicken thigh. 2 TBSP MCT
Lunch- large chicken thigh, 1 cup baby carrots. 2tbsp mct
Supper- Stirfry: beef, onion, broccoli, Red peppers, and mushrooms over cauliflower rice. Cajun shrimp over julienned carrots on the side and beats to garnish. 2tbsp of coconut oil

I think this leptin reset will only be for the week. I was going to do 2 but it's a lot to keep up with food wise.
Food for October 23rd
Breakfast- 2 eggs. 8 shrimp, 7 slices of bacon, 2tbsp mct
Lunch- chicken thigh, 1 cup cherry tomatos, 2tbsp mct
Supper- Leftovers of previous night- stirfry, 12 shrimp, 1 chicken thigh, 2 tbsp mct
dessert- 2 squares lindt 90
And this is where it goes down hill
Post dinner- 35 pistachios
At a buddies place- 1 Small square of sweet potato baked loaf
Upon returning from buddies place- 1 egg cup, 10 pistachios

Hey Ecks, how are you doing? You inspired me to do a leptin reset after my party with the carbs lately. Feeling better for it already though no weight loss yet. Just glad to have my brain functioning more normally again :)
