One of the most WRONG examples of having to read labels is salt. Almost every brand of plain old table salt has sugar/dextrose as it's second ingredient.... why is there more than one ingredient? The only salt without sugar was a non-iodized brand....
No kidding? Sugar in salt?? That is unbelievable.
Seems to be very bad in the US. In Germany we have a lot foods with added sugar too, but you often find an alternative without it.
As I read here people in the US add sugar to things like Salad or Pasta.
You have a big problem there.
But I'm optimistic that the people will change their mind!
