I love sauted vegetables. What stuff is good to sautee vegetables in? I have wheat free soy sauce but I know soy sauce is not primal or paleo friendly. Any ideas is greatly appreciated. THanks!
ps - not into spicy seasonings.

I use bacon fat any time I want to sautee anything.
btw, soy sauce isn't all that bad, imo. It's a fermented form of soy, and most of the nasties are killed off in the fermentation process. Soy sauce does usually have gluten, but I use San-J organic gluten-free soy sauce. Not perfect, but a small price to pay for giving stir fries a great flavor.
coconut oil, bacon fat/grease, butter, avocado oil, olive oil...
I like a bit of chicken broth and crushed garlic - adding a teeny bit of mustard to it (1/4 tsp or less) adds depth without making it taste 'mustardy'. I use ~1/4 - 1/3 cup of broth w/garlic in the bottom of my wok, and start off steaming the veggies for a couple minutes and then remove the lid and toss til the liquid is reduced (should only take a minute or so).
bacon fat or coconut oil are my favs .. 2 totally different tastes
bacon fat sounds terrible, but am curious as to how it would taste
I use butter for anything with a European flavor, and coconut oil if I cook Asian.
The umami taste of soy sauce could be replaced by fish sauce or shrimp paste.
Greens are super delicious cooked in bacon fat. Mmmmmm.
Olive oil or pastured butter are my two favorites with olive oil being #1. And there's nothing wrong with gluten free tamari. Fermented soy isn't all that bad in small doses. Just stay away from tofu, soy milk and soybean oil.
