Primal Journal - cmacfoley
Glad to see the Challenge begin! I've been investigating and attempting to live Primal for about a month and a half now. The Challenge is a good opportunity to up my commitment to it. One thing I want to do is make a list of my most commonly consumed foods with their protein/carb/fat breakdown, so it's easier for me to keep on track.
B: Smoothie w/ whey protein isolate, 1/2 banana, peach, almond milk; coffee w/ almond milk
L: Grilled chicken and zucchini, carrots, cherry tomatoes
S: Cottage cheese and a peach
S: Full-fat greek yogurt (YUM!) and pistachios
D: turkey burger (meat only) with pepper jack cheese, broccoli, grilled onions, tomato slices, evoo and butter
Protein: 137 (a bit more than I need)
30 minute morning walk
Afternoon Crossfit: lots of squats and a 4:40 high intensity session of KBS and push-ups.
Tomorrow's goals: Less carbs (fruit), less protein....I guess that would mean more fat! WooHooo!!!!
