Motivator for switching to Primal: I've been doubting CICO lately, and I've never tried eating outside of SAD, so this sounded interesting.
Favorite exercise: I have spent a lot of time running and doing half marathons. I haven't run in a few months now...I guess I'm taking a break. I love Bikram yoga, but don't get to do it very often. Right now I take a boxing class a couple of times a week.
Favorite Primal food: Bacon :-)
Best part about being Primal: Being able to resist cookies/cakes/candies so much more easily than I have ever been able to before.
Worst part about being Primal: Not quite sure what to do when friends want to get together with all of our kids to have pizza. Haven't found a suitable option from a pizza place, aside from salad.
Your location: Texas (near Austin)

How Primal are you: Diet-wise, probably 90%. Lifestyle-wise, maybe 70% right now but I'm working on it (still reading PB and getting with the full program!).
Do you consume dairy: I eat Greek yogurt a few times a week. Oh, and butter. Lots of butter.
Do you drink coffee or tea: Both, but only decaf/herbal.
Motivator for switching to Primal: It just makes sense, seems like a good way to maintain my recent weight loss, and I was already most of the way there as far as my diet goes.
Favorite exercise: Hiking with my dog (and camera), bodyweight/resistance exercises, Lifting Heavy Things. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and CFS 10 years ago and I'm learning that I'm so much stronger and can do so much more than I ever thought I could do physically, which makes me want to keep pushing myself to do more!
Favorite Primal food: Um, pretty much everything? I love food! Venison, avocados, macadamias and all forms of coconut are probably my favorites.
Best part about being Primal: Better sleep, better body, better moods, more energy -- it just feels "right" and natural and like it's what my body was meant to do.
Worst part about being Primal: Lectures and article links and whatnot from well-meaning relatives who hold to CW and the SAD like it's a religion.

Hi everyone! I'm new to posting on the forum, but I'm not new to MDA or the primal blueprint
Your location: Maine
Age (If you want): 21
How Primal are you: I'd say near 95% compliance, been primal for about a year and a half
Do you consume dairy: Yes, I'll have cream in coffee on the occasional days I make it. I use butter every day and once in awhile sour cream or full fat Greek yogurt as a special treat. Very rarely do I ever drink milk.
Do you drink coffee or tea: Both, coffee in the morning occasionally and tea almost every night
Motivator for switching to Primal: Originally to lose a few pounds, but now what really motivates me to STAY primal is to maintain the fabulous level of health I have achieved and to give my future children the best possible start to life.
Favorite exercise: Many favorites, but I would have to say I love hiking and swimming the best
Favorite Primal food: Cliche, but its definitely bacon. I could probably eat my weight in bacon!
Best part about being Primal: Constant energy levels. I love never having to deal with the carb crashes my friends and family experience on a daily basis, and it's especially helpful as a busy college student. A close second is definitely avoiding the numerous illnesses that are always going around my college campus
Worst part about being Primal: Social and family events. Although I have lived this way for a year and a half, my family and friends still don't understand (and don't care to understand) why I live and eat this way, so there is always pressure for me to eat things I don't want to.
Hey, been reading MDA for quite a while and flirting with primal eating, but now seeing as it is the new year I am committing to being primal.
So to introduce myself...

Best part of being primal? Not feeling so hungry that you could easily chew off your own hand... seriously i did weight watchers before and there were time I considered self-cannibalisation...
Worst part about being primal? Trying to explain it to my boyfriend who thinks I am subscribed to some sort of crackpot diet ( I wouldn't mind but I saw some diet shakes in his cupboard at home- now that is crackpot), my housemate giving a running critique of everything I put in my mouth.... Oh how I will laugh like a drain in a few months time when I shimmy into my size 8 jeans while eating a plate of bacon- ha then they will eat their words!
