I feel your pain on the clothes shopping with the Mrs. front...
I don't even like going to do that with myself.
Jeans and scoop or v-neck t-shirts it is!
And HOORAY for no further requirements from my own life. :o
My husband and I want to expat to Panama.
But not to live in one of those stuffy "white gated comms". Ugh.
My medical issues will probably keep me here. :(
Panama looks nice. Costa Rica does as well, and their medical system is supposed to be great. Just a thought :)

I've heard good and bad on the medical...
Good for general stuff, not so great for some specialty issues.
We are planning a visit there soonish actually!
A good friend of mine is moving there because her husband is in the Coasties and they are changing station.
It will be a chance to check out the availability of treatment and living options.
Canio!! Yet another of your groupies checkin' in to say she missed you!!
You know that saying about the grass being greener? Well, I have a current thing for moving to WA. I am tired of all the frickin' fracking going on here in the county. But hubby has been lately making a point to tell me how much he loves living here, which he does. Being of the political persuasions he is, he likes the drilling. Harrumph. At least we don't disagree about child-rearing!
HCG but I do the cooking, so kind of? I just cook within the limits of what she is allowed. For example, if she is allowed 100g of chicken breast I make that for her while making chicken for myself or whatever the protein happens to be. HCG is just pork phobic in the phase she is currently in so I eat pork products when she is not around :D
Edit: so basically it is low fat, low carb primal (if low fat can be called primal)
I have a friend doing HCG and following Primal - for the most part - again, low fat. She's lost 68 lbs last we talked, which was a couple of months ago I think. She's probably down close to 80 lb now if I know her loss rate well enough. I just can't bring myself to do it... it's expensive as hell and you're not allowed to eat very much! I like to eat. And what's going to happen when they stop the treatments and increase beyond 500 calories of food again? I'll take my 100% healthy, allbeit slllooooooowww at this point, Primal weight loss. :)
One of my middle daughter's BFF's parents own a home in Costa Rica and will be making that their permanent residence once their daughter graduates high school.
remind me - what is HCg ????

pregnancy hormone... not sure how it works. Anytime I've had pregnancy hormone going through me, I've gained weight. ;)
In regards to HcG and weight loss, I remember my OB telling me that HcG works for weight loss as women are supposed to be in ketosis during pregnancy for the babies development. If you're already fat when pregnant, you won't gain as much fat while pregnant. I'm a perfect example of this. I gained 9 pounds the first 2 pregnancies and 13 my last and I was right around 200 pounds when I became pregnant with each.
I was around 200 with each of my pregnancies... the first I gained 63 lbs. The second 35 lbs.
so how does a wrinkled old hysterectomied Gwamma get her hands on this stuff ????????????????????????
