Yay!!! You started one!!
Nice job!! That's really friggin awesome. I haven't seen anyone lose that much since right before my husband was diagnosed as a type II diabetic 3 yrs ago. He lost 40 lbs in 6 weeks from his blood glucose levels being over 700.
Bacon is now my go to meat when I need a pick me up. It's funny, I used to eat a bag of chips or ice cream for that now its bacon. And when I eat that, I don't feel so bad.

Thanks Georgette :) Bacon is great. I eat it pretty much every day at lunch in the 3-4 piece range so a pack lasts a week or so. My pick up honestly is dark chocolate. The difference is that now instead of eating an entire bar I'll eat a square or two (or three if it is the Green and Blacks which just has tiny squares. Why so small G&B? Hmm?)

Food today...
B: TFC special*
L: 2 chicken legs (leftover from last night), 2 squares G&B dark chocolate, 6 almonds
D: (already in the crockpot) Rivvin surprise**
*1 large cup of coffee w/ half and half in honor of our resident hater of all things caffinated, TheFastCat
**Pork and saurkraut, just in no where near Rivvin quantities.

I'm a coffee addict but I like it black. I have never had the G&B. Can't seem to find it around here. Rivvin surprise sounds wonderful. The German in me is screaming "ja".

The first time I made it I made it with country-style ribs. This time I made it with a butt roast. The ribs were far better.

This week's winner of Canio6's Woman With (whom I would like to eat) Bacon or WWB award goes to Natalie Portman. She's played an assassin's sidekick, a single mom who gives birth in a Walmart, and holy hell she hooked up with Vader. That said, in her latest movie she plays a very thin ballerina. She definitely needs some bacon.

I did read a nasty rumor that Toby Maguire talked her into being a vegan. This means he is officially dead to me.

She was in Leon and a couple of my other favorite movies. I love her.
