and you didn't take the hormone correcting supplements?
the article that Ruth posted yesterday, sort of hit home for me!
ME TOO! It was kinda even an "ouch!"
Well, I am finding this easy so far. I am reveling in the carb at every meal. I am doing 2 fruits/ day plus one starch. Not tracking right now, just eating. But in case anyone is interested, macros working out to about 100g of each, percentages about 20/20/60.
224.7 Weight came down 3 lbs, but had been up 15 due to severe binging. Now less than 9 to my recent lchf low.
Mental state was stable, dare I say, even happy.
Good, even energy all day.
So, higher carbs? Dear God, don't let Chaco see... we will never hear the end of it.. LOL FWIW.. eating carbs (even good ones) make me happier too.
No I didn't. I think they are fine for me, but not during my actual period. Most of those types of supps say not to take them the first week of the cycle. These are meant for women without a period. I will try a half dose starting on Friday.
I am not getting any change o life help.. not sure if I need it. What are they suppose to do?
Yep definitely an ouch at the recognition.
I loved the following quote from the article Ruth posted. Remind you of anyone?
"Consider the source. If youíre a middle-aged woman, donít listen to a damn thing that young males say, unless said young males have a wealth of hands-on experience and research knowledge in the field of middle-aged womenís health. And even then, be suspicious."
Yes HB that is exactly who I thought of.
The Funny thing is that NK works fine for me, but the NK-Binge bounce back and forth is making me a crazy woman and probably hurting me physically.
Hooray for happy!!! Have a great day, Paula:)
Karin You can read reviews on amazon. They actually helped keep me very stable, cut hot flashes, irritability etc., but I think that I have to stop taking them during my period. That would not be a problem for you. They are meant for women in menopause.

Especially the line about friends and family running for cover. Hell, I wanted to run away from myself last week.
hahahaha. As I was reading it I kept thinking of all that I have tried in the past 2 years, enough to make my head spin, and in the end -yes I am heavier.
I hope you are feeling better today, Paula.

me too. Not heavier - but no lighter in the past 6 months since changing to HFLC. That might work well for the male population, and the rare female who doesn't have much to lose - but for us "fluffy" girls who struggle to lose 1/2 pound --- I now believe we need CARBS! bring me that sweet potato!!!! :) Even when I'm eating carbs freely - I never go above 120 grams. Remember Mark said that is normally the sweet spot for most of us. I'm staying right where I am.
