OH! Points to hubby for that one! How sweet................ :)
Good luck on the demands of the coming weeks - then spring break will give you a nice breather!!
OMG, how very sweet! Almost made me cry.
Envision Spring Break!
3.5 weeks until spring break!
I will have the exam done by this afternoon (Because I am just that good).
My grades will be done by tomorrow.
I had a weird food moment...I had my normal breakfast before I came to school, but after the sh!t hit the fan first thing, I started to feel ill. It was like my blood pressure was too high or there was too much cortisol pumping through my body. By Lunch I was feeling horrible and ready for some sugar, but I have no extra money this week, so I ate my healthy lunch, drank a glass of water and a cup of coffee. Presto Changeo! (I've always wanted to use that phrase) I felt like a different person. Suddenly, I stopped wanting to cry or scream at someone and the work seemed doable.
I used to love when a guy would give me a mixed tape. That was very sweet of the hubs. Yes, he wins props!
I've found the minute I eat something fatty that I need, all the cravings for anything bad goes to the wayside. I do love the use of 'Presto Changeo' btw.
Presto Chango, made me think of the magician and the bunny in "Frosty the Snowman"

Still busy grading and dealing with the upcoming special education meeting for my son. It may be postponed until March 13th. It was supposed to be Thursday morning. Shoot, I was looking forward to taking Thursday off and that means two more weeks of angst between my husband and I. The stress at school is so high right now, that none of us want to be there. Argh.
I can honestly say I am with you with the kid and school. I have requested a metting to review my kids 504, I was told by the teacher, she thinks things are fine and a meeting is not necessary. Little did she know she just violated my parent rights. They have had snow days too so I have not been able to contact the administrator.

On a good note, this morning my husband mysteriously said "tell me what you think of the CD I put in your car." When I started the car, Elton John's "Your Song" started playing. He made me a "mix tape". Every song was about how much I mean to him. I cried all the way to work.
A+ for the hubs. He does have his moments :)

start slathering yourself in coconut oil.. it will make you think of vacation and might ease stress. Either way, your skin will thank you! LOL
You seem to be full of good spirit and handling the stress. How much do you think the higher fat helps with stress?
I think of how The Mood Cure describes nutritional deficiencies & using up a body's "stores" of nutrients in times of stress. You were stressed, your body is healing and started to demand food/nutrition. You ate, you felt better! That's why I think 5-HTP works for me. I'm still healing, still working with stress, so I need some extra help to get those amino acids in and produce enough serotonin.

You know, I've thought about this, and it is sad to say that my first thought is that someone would slip and get injured. God, I need to get out more.
