Yes. I uh...spent some time with my husband before he went to work.:o
Okay. So my clotting level was perfect. Supposed to be between 2 and 3. I was 2.4 Nice to know I am still stable on this program. Sadly, no chance of lowering my dosage. Just for reference, most heart patients can reach the magic 2-4 range with under 5 mg of coumadin. I am on 14mg.
I described my symptoms to the nurse. She felt that it was anemia caused by my period. The recommendation is to supplement iron from a few days to a week before my due date and throughout the "circus". Good thing I am pretty regular.
I hope this is the answer and not that my body can't handle lchf or that my adrenal fatigue is flaring.
Thanks for the concern everyone.

Paula, I was like this when the Russian Circus was horribly wrong for me AKA pre ablation. I would feel like I would pass out but I never took iron. What I did was to eat more red meat and added liver a few days before the circus stared and during. It really helped. Maybe a good fatty roast or a steak would help too?

Paula, feel better. So sorry to hear about this. Hopefully it will pass soon and you will get your energy back.

yeah, for a frolic in the hay! Well I guess it is good to know your blood is stable. Couldn't the nurse have done a finger prick iron test while you were there? ah well, you have an excuse to take a nap!
-
No, it had to be a full on test. I took a double dose of iron (56mg) about 1pm. The extreme lethargy has lifted and the breathlessness is better. This I can live with.
The preliminary estimate on the car damage is $2600. I bring it in on the 7th and it should be done by the 14th.

Bah, cars are so expensive :(. But I'm glad you are feeling better and the repair time is not too long. And that you can drive it safely even with the damage! Lots of pluses :).
isn't there a 'get some' ice cream recipe floating around? Ice cream that is guaranteed to put you in a romantic mood, that is. That might be a good reward...the kind that leads to another, non-food reward. :)
where!!!! Please direct me to that recipe!
