Hope its nothing major Paula, and hope your MIL is ok.
Sending good wishes and hugs, hope your MIL will be well again very soon. And you too, Paula. :)
Praying for you & MIL!
MIL is much improved but it was a close call. 2 days ago she took my FIL to the Dr. She looked so bad that the Dr. insisted that she admit herself for a pacemaker implant. She actually checked into the hospital last night. They found that she was dehydrated from not eating because she felt ill. They started IV fluids. Unfortunately, because her heart was not pumping properly, the excess fluid caused acute congestive heart failure.
They caught it in time. She is on a ridiculous amount of Lasix to make her get rid of the excess fluid. She will get the pacemaker tomorrow afternoon.
What a crazy day! I was sick and draggy. According to my monitor, I slept less than 3 hrs. Then the MIL crisis and a sucky faculty meeting. I ate 1000 cals over my goal in fat. A binge on primal stuff. Trying not to binge on sugar or wheat.
Glad its over. Going to bed soon.
Oh wow, only 3 hours! you must be wrecked :(
Hey a binge on primal stuff is a step in the right direction. Go you!
Glad your MIL is improved.
Thanks for the update. Hang in there! At least tomorrow is Friday.... Binging is never good, but you managed as best as you could. Small steps...
agreed, the ability to control your binge to primal is a huge step in the right direction!
Good to hear things are under control with MIL.
You need to go to bed!!!!
Sweet dreams.
I did learn through some research that the lack of sleep causes cortisol levels to raise which is what causes binges. Sending you guys some love and prayers.
