We arrived home at 4:30pm yesterday. I had to clean up our bedroom & house without my in laws knowing it. We were not prepared to have them over, but were glad to accommodate them. I have to admit that I was tired and cranky by the end of it, but I kept it to myself. (sugar withdrawal and days of sleeping in a strange bed) The look of relief on my FIL's face knowing his bed was just down the hall was totally worth it.
2 eggs, onions and sweet potato cooked in Ghee.
Turkey, parsnips and sweet potato
Chicken, cucumbers, tomatoes and onion with O&V dressing
Coffee, water and tea.
You are good DIL. My inlaws generally like to stay with us better too (except that we're boring). We have much more room and I'm a better cook.
Nice! I am sure they appreciate your efforts. Sounds like you are rockin the whole 30 girl!
Well it has only been 2 days, but I am hopeful.
It gets A LOT easier after the first week and the sugar (and other withdrawals) have calmed down a bit. By week 3, I usually feel beyond fantastic (makes me wonder why I stray:)).
[QUOTE=Pebbles67;1013859] It is hard to behave when there are cheese platters everywhere.
Cheese platters have a lot to answer for, it's true.

I consider this day 2 of W30, but it is actually day 3 sugar/ grain carb free. I'm so happy.
Yay! I was on track today. Overspending for the month is helping me from going out to buy chocolate. I'm sure the sugar cravings will ease up in a day or two.
I love how W30 takes away the bloat within days. Feeling a little disorganized this morning but we are coming off a 5 day weekend and I have guests.
Yesterday, I took my MIL shopping for groceries. At the checkout line, she kept grabbing stuff from my cart to pay for. I wrestled her over ground beef and salad. I lost.
This week I have a pre observation conference for my formal observation this year. I completed all of the paper work and the lesson plan yesterday, so I am ready. If they want to fire me after 20 years then good luck finding a teacher as fabulous as I am:p.
I don't know...if you can't wrestle a 70-year old woman into submission, you might not be tough enough for teenagers. Snort. :)
