Best wishes for the New Year, wineandcandy! So in about 9 weeks you'll be a LOT closer to me :) . Your daughter is beautiful and her dress is magical!
Thanks Candy!
I know! I can't wait :)
So I thought I'd try the 21 Day thing. Except I haven't finished reading the book...
What to do? What to do??
I know what my weaknesses are. Wine. Sugar.
So I'm going to start with a 21 day No Wine No Sugar.
I am allowing myself to have a tiny bite off my Artisan, locally roasted and ground 90% chocolate bar if I NEED it :)
Yesterday was Day 1.
I gave myself a sticker in my day planner :)
So far it looks like I'm going to be able to give myself one tonight too!
That sounds like a good plan for you. As I recall, you did not have a good experience with the W30 strictness, mainly because you felt like you COULD NOT have any of those "not allowed" things, and consequently felt extremely deprived by the idea of all that. By deciding to allow the bite of chocolate when REALLY needed, it shouldn't cause that same stress. And because you can, if you want, you might just have more success with not having it. If that makes any sense at all .
And so what if you haven't finished the 21 day book yet? Just keep reading!
Leave it to a teacher to use stickers in your planner for a reward, haha.
I like the sticker idea  *runs in search of little nieces Hello Kitty stickers*
Darn! Now I've got stickers stuck to the iPad!! Guess it doesn't work so well with technology. :o

That's correct, W30 messed with my mind.
It makes perfect sense to me. I could have it if I really wanted/needed it, so I probably won't :)

HAHAHAHAHHA!!!!!!
Last night I dreamed about buying candy.
Really.
And then in my dream I realized that I was doing a 21 Day No Wine No Candy
And I didn't know what to do with my bag of gummy worms...
This morning I woke up hungry.
So I fried an egg while I was drinking my Chai with whipping cream.
I sat down with my egg. Poked the yolk and went to take a bite and lost my appetite.
I tried a bite and then I dumped the egg in the compost.
I wasn't hungry again till 1:30.
It was all the gummy worms!! :). How do you make your chai?
