Oh, a language lover! :) I majored in French and German, and can speak a bit of Italian too. Took an Arabic class 30 years ago and have forgotten all of it. The classical Greek stuck a wee bit better, but not much. How far along are you with your Russian and Arabic?
I generally translate medical questionnaires and ICFs from English to Bengali. Plus other things also, but not legal. Naan is not Bengali at all. It is totally Punjabi/North Indian. A typical Bengali menu is puffed or beaten rice with milk or Yogurt in the morning( nowadays mostly eggs/toast/cornflakes in the urban areas), Rice, lentils, veggies and fish for lunch and Chapati, veggies and/or chicken for dinner. I have totally stopped the chapatis (unleavened wheat flat-breads) but rice is proving harder to ditch. I don't cook it at home, but it is very difficult to make your very Bengali in-laws understand that you really, really don't eat rice, or wheat, or any grains for that matter.
Thanks for helping me out today!
HI there! Just wanted to let you know how much I like your avatar! Really nice!:) M
Hey I just sent you a message, but forgot you asked about eggs, not tomatoes! Some people are allergic to eggs so I guess my nutritionist wanted to see if I also have a sensitivity or allergy, but I just added them back and haven't felt any worse.
