While I'm no stranger to fitness/nutrition and all topics "health", I seem to be a "do as I say, not as I do" person. This last year, for no apparent reason, I just laid down and embraced gluttony & sloth. I mean REALLY. I'm snapping out of it, mostly because I don't recognize myself (in the mirror AND my headspace/thoughts). I am lactose-intolerant and have relied on vegan folks/recipes to replace ingredients and I've learned to like a great many of the alternatives. But I'm not vegan. I enjoy sourcing my food locally and am pretty excited to learn how to live without grains.
I enjoy working out, I just HAVEN'T. (I just had my bike tuned up to start with some nice summer evening rides). I've been a 6day a week exerciser before and I enjoy the sweat, energy and "high" that it gives you so I'm not opposed to working out and "play".
I hope to have many fruitful conversations and learn learn LEARN.
