i'm not completely against corporal punishment, but i'm certainly not an advocate either. i believe in finding all other possible avenues of teaching a child (including CONSIDERING just letting the behavior go) before resorting to spanking. sports are another topic, i don't see a problem with making kids workout harder as long as it's within reason.

yeah, no problem. ironically i found that link while trying to disprove what you said. *g* don't be mad, i'm funny that way. there were native tribes who used corporal punishment; the iroquois just weren't one of them. i'm a tiny bit cheyenne. :)

I've just implicated this lifestyle a month ago ,& I feel like a new person. I'm considered skinny fat, but never really felt comfortable with it in my own skin.

Yeah it's a pretty bad burn! Totally worth it for the climbing trip though :)

I did like it in Norway. The nature is just awesome, and there's loads of space compared to Britain, but the weather is very random. I never liked the long, dark winter though ... I do miss it to be honest.
