"grinding" refers to slow upward presses that don't engage the legs (some presses you do a slight squat as you press up, and it makes it easier).
Take a look at this site--there's a lot of variations that look like they'd be challenging, even with a light weight.
I have searched Google for grind presses. All that comes up is coffee related. Go figure. How are grind presses done?
