Yay! I had to clean out my messages, too. I back them all up... because I'm silly that way :D

Yes! It seems like we just react poorly to the same foods (eg, dairy), so that accounts for some of the similarities XD I'm all up on the meat/organ wagon, too (more excited than most Paleo girls), and I guess both of us prefer sweet potatoes over anything else as our starch, so it ends up being pretty similar xD

Had my first day of work today - packed 3 fresh, yellow dates to keep my mouth fresh and off I went.
When I got back home I had a surprise meal waiting for me, a huge pot filled with broth and meat.
I went all out on that piece of meat I saw and a plate of potatoes,
after asking that piece of meat was about 1KG.
    Feelin' like grok..

If you ever write a journal or something I'd love to read it
  7. Local people brings eggs to work and sell them, but I often settle for Wilcox omega 3 eggs if I have to. But the Sno-isle co-op always has the real thing! Serious, free-range eggs. Just be ready to set aside a larger portion of your grocery budget for them. Duck eggs are also at the co-op! I don't know what they feed the ducks, but they're a nice change of scenery.

Whole foods has impressed me with very cheap cuts of grass-fed steak (around 3.00 to 4.00 for a half-pound steak!) unless I'm getting bamboozled. They also have free-range chicken legs, breast and thighs.

Whole foods uses a welfare rating system where 4 is supposed to mean the animals are pasture-raised.

I get my liver and suet from a local farmer. Forest Cattle is their name, and the fat is true yellow, vitamin-rich grass-fed glory. I trust them very much. Check, they're listed there - along with hundreds of other places to find real food.

Hey! I was wondering where you get all your meat and eggs from? I remember you saying you live kind of near where we're at. I have no trouble finding grass fed beef and lamb, but pasture raised everything else is proving difficult. The best I can do with pork and chicken is Mad Hatcher and Pure Country Pork. Thank you!

Steak, eggs, potatoes - fruits, nuts, berries and forage. Coconut milk and potent herbs and spices. Tea instead of coffee now and teeny amounts of kelp daily. Let's see how this does! Not really had dairy much, and gut seems better for it.
