I am a 35 y/o female paramedic of 15 years. I have always been really into health and fitness however gaining a substantial amount of weight after a back injury a few years ago. I have healed from the injuries however I find myself in a constant WAR with the excess weight that I acquired. It is not the vanity 20 lbs or so and I have recently set my mind and body to becoming healthy no matter what the numbers may say. I have been going to the gym and doing cardio, weight and strength training. I found this website and read and decided this would be a great addition to my plan. It is easy to get discouraged when you work so hard and results are slow. As of now I am seeing some results on the tape measure but none on the scale, however it has only been 2 weeks and I am not about to give up now.
