For almost 20 years I worked as an engineer for consulting firms, but then went to law school for a change of pace. Former vegan (10 years of it, before finally deciding that it was working against me, health-wise). After reading "Neanderthin" back in 2001, I've been Paleo ever since. I'm still refining my approach to food and health, and lurking on these forms for years has helped a lot.

I have great faith in fools; self-confidence, my friends call it.
My diet? Very low carb to initially lose weight, then moderate carbs (the past 12 years) for effortless weight maintenance. For me, the "carb curve" works like a charm. Once a week or so, I eat only one meal during the day (at late evening), as sort of a mini-fast.
