I have been active and health conscious for most of my adult life, but never able to stick to something long term that fits my needs (vegetarian, low fat, low sugar, 5-6 meals/day, etc). Since hitting perimenopause a few years back, my weight has shifted and my waist expanded. Within THREE WEEKS of adopting a Paleo diet, I lost 3 inches on my waist (down to 26")and I no longer feel bloated. My sugar cravings are gone and I feel wonderful. I am probably at 90/10 right now, but I am eagerly sucking up all the information I can to learn more about making myself well. In addition to the weight gain, I developed scoliosis. Although the curve is still there, the muscle pain and the tension in my neck is gone. I know this must be the diet correcting the inflammatory process. Thank you!!!!
