After a year-long stint as a vegan, I decided to revise my attitudes towards food and return to a more biologically effective and functional diet. So, here I am, working on finding my optimal diet; currently this means pounds and pounds of vegetables, some fruit, a good deal of yogurt, fish, nuts & seeds as wanted/needed, no grains, but some amount of traditionally-prepared legumes (fermented, for example, or sprouted and cooked with kombu). Already feeling much better than on my exclusively vegan diet, and looking forward to feeling my best, soon!
