I am 45, out of shape, overweight, and on my way to being just the 45 part. About five years ago, I followed The Maker's Diet which has a lot in common with primal with the exception of allowing limited sprouted grains and while I was on it strictly, I lost about 65 pounds. Unfortunately, the grains began to creep back in and I gained it all back. I ran into Marks Daily Apple and had a moment of clarity---grain. I can't eat grain. Period. So I have quit cold turkey.
