I'm 63, fairly fit. I was always able to keep my weight down until 2003 when I was hit by a car on my bike and tore up my right knee pretty badly. Gained 50 lbs over the next 3 yrs being sedentary until I had a knee replacement in 2006. Could NOT get any weight off until hcg. Lost 40 lbs about a year ago, then gained 15 back (various reasons).
