  • Vibram FiveFingers for $50!!

I thought I'd share a good close out price on VFF's cause everyone here seems to want them but $90 is a little much.

Travel Country dot com (dunno if a link would show up) has a closeout section of men's and women's VFF's for as low as $50.

The women's prices aren't as good, but check the size chart tall women may wear men's sizes (I'm 5'9" and I ordered 43's).

arrrrggh, none my size (39) There were some 37s for teensy women (size 6). Just as well; the local shop gives me a discount for being a local. I'm about to buy my 2nd pair.

    thanks for the info!!!

City Sports usually has a buy 1 get one 1/2 off so I picked the little lady up a pair for $40, mine were $80. Not bad overall.

        US$90 is a bit much?

They cost up to US$180+ in Australia!

Dang. Sounds like you need to find a friend in the US to ship shoes to you.

I refused to pay that and I got mine directly from a shop in the US for a good price. Local buyers are getting ripped off though.

I do need a friend in the states. There are better deals and cooler things to spend money on

Andrea, thanks for your link! Apparently my husband was trying his hardest to surprise me with a pair of classics for my birthday, but since I kept asking about it and showing him sales he finally caved and told me that was going to be my present He kept saying "you don't need two pairs" "what would you do with two" blah blah...and I thought he was just trying to save money! So he ordered some from another site, also on sale!, and I'll have them this week! We're terrible at keeping presents a secret though, always have been

I may be able to get VFF's for $90, but I don't get to live in Australia!

How do you think they would work for someone who has connected toes? I want to get those for my mom and two of her middle toes are connected half way through and I'm not sure how comfortable she would feel in them.

We have different sizes so I can't let her try on mine.

Thanks Andrea! I have been wanting to get a pair and putting it off until I had the money and this price put it in the ball park for me. 56 shipped!

chocolatechip, the Vibram website specifically says they don't work for people with webbed toes...so you should definitely have her try on a pair somewhere locally if possible rather than go through the hassle of shipping.

                            Sweet. $53 shipped.

Shipping is ordinarily $6, but they have free shipping on orders of $50 or more. The shoes were $49.99, so I added a Backpacker's Pantry Vegetable Medley for $3.00.

I have no idea what the vegetable medley is, but for negative three dollars, I figured I'd give it a try.
