I heard Mark on a radio talk show yesterday and he was making some really good points and what seemed to be solid common sense. I was intrigued enough to come here, order the book and get started. I am curious how well this works for post-menopausal women with low functioning thyroid. Anyone else out there with these challenges? I have lost all energy to work out or do much of anything, and of course have put on 20 extra pounds. Advice appreciated!

First I want to thank Mark - again - for putting so much of his wisdom up to read, for free. Not many diet/lifestyle gurus do that, they want to sell you things. Well, Mark does too, but he doesn't withhold if you don't buy the book or his supplements. This fact alone tells me so much about Mark and his motives.

Welcome, kanajune! Search "thyroid" on this forum page AND on the home page. They are two different searches. One of the little tricks old timers eventually figure out. A very common topic.

Hey Mark and everyone. I am so thankful for this site and the book. Last year I lost about 40 pounds on a very structured weight loss plan using portion controlled meal replacements.

Once I reached my goal, I knew I needed another "plan" that did not include buying pre-packaged meals. Wow, was I happy to find this site! It made my transition to normal foods very, very easy.

Eating and living a primal lifestyle feels completely natural to my body and mind. I wish I'd found it before I did that other weight loss program, however, PB has made it easy to maintain my weight loss (actually, I've lost more weight since reaching my initial goal).

I am currently about 75 - 80% primal and this feels about right for now. I love all the articles and the forum!

I just noticed that when you mouse-over PB, CW an other primal acronyms a tip pops up --- that's big help for newbies! Let try some other BAS, CAFO, EVOO.....

                        That's good work Mark!

The Acronym Hover Feature is thanks to a forum user that is also very web savvy. He took the time to build this specifically for this forum and then contacted me with it. I'll leave him unnamed (not sure if he cares to be identified), but big thanks to another wonderful forum member!

I had also noticed the hover thingy and LOVE it... what a GREAT idea. And really great implementation.
