My husband and I are moving in three weeks... Should I list our new address for shipping and billing?

Hmmm. That's tough. I don't have a solid ship date, but it's looking like we'll be shipping 2 weeks from now. You can always call my office - 888-774-6259 - to change your address or to find out more as we approach the ship date and your move.

Thanks for purchasing my new book!

Hmm, it says I will get free shipping if I am one of the first 1000 pre-orders, which I assume, I will be if I order it within the next few minutes.

But I don't live in the US and when it comes to chosing a shipping option I can only go with priority mail, which is an additional 12,95$.

So, do I have to pay that extra money or not?

I'm curious about that as well as I live in Canada and while it isn't the normally the same rate to ship to Canada, there is normally international shipping... Actually... I'll just get it shipped to our US post office box! Thanks

The new site looks great! And - I just pre-ordered 4 copies of the book (will give out to friends and relatives to introduce them to the Primal lifestyle).

Did encounter a wee bit of head-scratching on the order form... I'm in Calgary, Canada and I ticked the box to ship to same address as the billing address - but - when I looked at my email copy of my receipt, it indicates country "US" (for shipping), while my billing info was country "Canada". (I assume it will make sense that shipping is, in fact, to Canada, not US.)

Congratulations on the publishing of the book - looking forward to reading it.

I pre-ordered the book and I'm really keen to get started on reading it. I've had a huge lifestyle change this last year with P90X....I'm now hoping to take that to another level by going Primal!

              Stupid stuff!

I don't have a credit card (credit cards are not something usual in most parts of Europe anyways) and my brothers credit card somehow didn't get accepted.

I'm not gonna order the book now. There are no alternative paying options and if I really had to pay shipping as well, almost 40$ for one single book is just ridiculous, tell me what you want.

I know that it's probably a very good book and I would LOVE reading it, but right now, there's now way I'm gonna pay that much and get into all that credit card trouble.

                Hey Mark,

I am very excited about the book. One note though the website does a goofy thing where you don't know that you ordered the book because the page just resets. I ended up ordering two books, which is fine I guess. (The extra one will make a good gift.) You may want to have you people check into it though.

                Best of luck.

I was pleasantly surprised at the price especially after seeing what some folks want for an e-book. Jumped right on it!

Matthias...sure hope something can be worked out for you. There has to be a cheaper method of getting the book to you.

                    Hi Mark,

Ordered the book yesterday. As I am in Edinburgh Scotland I assume that's why I had to pay the shipping. Anyway, good luck with the book, I know it will be excellent.

I've been anxiously awaiting your book and would love to pre-order a copy, but US$12.95 is pretty steep for shipping to Toronto. Any idea when amazon will get a hold of it?

If the shipping is only free to the USA, why is this not stated? I really get irked when people assume everyone that uses the internet is in the USA.

Advertised free shipping should not turn out to be $12.95...

I totally agree with you Tarlach. I hope Mark will reply to this.

I agree with Tarlach and Primal Serge. This is exactly the reason why I have not ordered the book yet. I would love to read it but will wait until it is stocked at amazon.

On the issue of shipping internationally... There are slim margins on a product like this and international shipping charges (even to Canada) are steep. I do mention as a footnote in the order form that the free shipping option is only for domestic media mail options.

In most cases $12.95 will just cover the cost of S&H to me and in many cases the cost of S&H is much more than $12.95. I hope everyone understands. I've tried to create a price point that makes sense to everyone.

I'll also add that the book price is on par with any hard back out there and is in many if not most cases at a lower cost than many health and fitness ebooks - books that haven't even been printed.

Thanks for the feedback and please do check Amazon as soon as the book officially drops.

                              Cheers!
