  • Research Project- Resource Help (Long read)

OK here's my dilemma- I have to do a research project for English (1st year university level, no more than 2000 words) based on

    a) Supersize Me

    b) A contradictory source

and c) my own personal opinion, wherever this falls.

I can use another supplementary source, but I want the main points below to all be in my primary source.

My main problem will be keeping the content within acceptable range. I want a book, or even a paper that includes:
    • dietary cholesterol =/ blood cholesterol
    • dietary fat =/ body fat
    • Insulin and Insulin resistance
    • Heart Hypothesis and Ancel Keys' role in our current diet
    • ridiculously low calorie recommendations and their effect on low metabolic rate

My paper won't be very detail intensive in these obviously, so I need my resource to do that job.

    My ideas:

Good Calories, Bad Calories- but my prof needs to check my stats, and that is one mother of a read

Vegetarian Myth- haven't personally read this yet, not sure if my key points are all included

Cereal Killer- haven't read, but seems a good choice content wise. However, how professional is it?

The Great Cholesterol Con- content, is it all there?

The perfect contradictory source is the Fat head movie by Tom Naughton. He tears Spurlock's bullshit to shreds. Here is his blog, and from there I think you can find the movie:

EDIT: Tom also gave a presentation recently and put it up on youtube. I don't know whether its still there. He is also a funny guy, started out as a stand up comedian.

Unfortunately my source has to be in written form, but thanks for the link. I've been meaning to check out that movie for awhile.
