  • Where to find macadamia nuts in the UK? Or chia seeds?

I've never seen either on a shop shelf, and I've been looking. Oh - except roasted, salted macadamias in Waitrose.

Nearest I've got so far: M&S nut selection (sold as a snack) - 20% each of almonds, pecans, cashews, pistachios and macadamias. No roasting/salting, and conspicuously fresh - scrummy.

Chia... no-one seems to have heard of them at all, much less sell them.

Morrisons and I think Tesco do "raw" macs in little packs. Try Julian Graves for big packs? Expensive though. Can't help on the chia I'm afraid!

      thanks!

Do Morrisons call themselves Somerfield down here in darkest Oxfordshire? We have a local one, anyway, so I'll go look.

Nope, but Morrisons is a northern (Bradford, originally) chain.
Somerfield has just been taken over by Co-op, so keep an eye as they switch things around

On the chia front - Gmail just brought up an ad for http://www.beyond-human.co.uk/index....raw-chia-seeds . So mail order is always an option.
