Sad. No Paleo-supportive physicians in Utah... this further encourages me to become the first one. Hmm...

Considering how huge California is, that's a pretty puny list! Not a one in Sonoma County. But I really shouldn't be surprised; anything within a hundred miles of San Francisco is weighted heavily towards alternative/progressive life-styles, which currently is associated with vegetarianism in the public eye. (We , of course, are aware that PB is the true alt/pro life-style.)

My doctor is in NYC-he's on Jimmy's list. That is how I found him. He charges a pretty penny though!

Not meaning to insult chiropractors but all of the docs, in Massachusetts anyway, are chiropractors. Being generally healthy I'm not sure why I would seek one out. Any MD's, or DO's?
Wheat is the new tobacco. Spread the word.

I've just decided that if and when I see my doctor here, if he were to ask what I've done to get healthier, I'm just going to keep my mouth shut. I know he would tell me I'm nuts if I told him about being primal.

That's the truth. Can you share the questions you asked and how many doctors you screened before finding one that was acceptable?

Did you screen in person or by phone?

And do you have one in Atlanta?

A lot of DC's practice nutritional medicine. I go to a DC who hardly does adjustments anymore. I've never had any adjustments from him. He mainly does functional endocrinology and autoimmune stuff (and he's very Paleo friendly) although he also does allergy care and general health stuff.

For anyone who's interested, here's a list of Paleo-friendly practitioners who practice functional endocrinology.

Hello, I am new to this board. There must be other doctors out there who support Primal eating who have not considered or even thought about listing themselves. Perhaps posters will pass on doctors they have found. I live in Florida and no one here other than DCs. I am looking for a primary care or internest just because there can be things you need them for. I have to leave the doctor I am with now; he is intolerable!

Ditto, all the "docs" on the paleo list for Georgia are chiropractors. I think some of the paleo doctors ought to start putting on workshops across the country for other docs. Otr maybe at the AHS symposium in Boston next year have a "Paleo For Physicians" workshop.
