    The last word on this Goosejuggler was that coconut oil has a lot of benefits in everyday use.
    ChunkyMonkey was my favorite ice cream, back in my crunchy munchy days way back when. It's anything but vegan!! Why would a vegan troll come onto MDA, slamming steak?, our sacred cow (not sacred enough to not devour with gusto). It's a troll thing, man...

    Quinoa, ha! You can take your pea-protein eating butt outta here & go find a nice carby/sugary vegan site to hang out in, & let the big boys & girls @ MDA eat their meat in peace...

    At least you did get the coconut oil plug in there, so your post is not a complete fail

      Quinoa is NOT a source of complete protein. Well... it is, but...

      The fact that is has all the essential aminoacids doesn't mean anything. The ratio between them is not optimal. Imagine you have 11 wheels, 2 engines and 17 seats. How many cars can you build? Just 2. Then you have to get rid of 3 wheels and 9 seats, because you cannot store them.

      I suggest you check the concept of biological value of proteins.

      Quinoa is an interesting seed (not grain, seed), and tastes great of course. It's a good source of carbs that incidentally has proteins as well, that's why I prefer it to millet. But it is in no way a replacement to meat or fish. It's a replacement to rice.

        My method - ignore everything that comes from simple correlation studies (you know, "kamikaze pilots have low life expectancy" stuff) and pay attention to actual biochemical science. Pay extra attention if the scientist actually considers how your body digests food and responds to stimuli. Realize that journalists have no idea how to interpret scientific journals, and ignore everything not directly written by a scientist. Simple.
