    Cleaning house and doing yardwork are taking on new importance. A higher level of physical activity not just exercising is linked to a reduced risk of developing Alzheimer's disease even in people over 80, suggests research published Wednesday in the journal Neurology.

    I bet sex and dancing are the two most beneficial. If you consider positive social activity, especially intimate conversation an activity, this is probably up there with the most beneficial as well.

      Helping others is also supposed to be beneficial. It makes us feel better and keeps us more mobile when older. There is research showing that people who help others are happier and live longer.
      Why use a sledge hammer to crack a nut when a steam roller is even more effective, and, is fun to drive.
