    The blogger says that, "See, lots of (natural) carbs are OK!! Taubes is wrong!"


    What an idiot. One little microcosm of the world of human nutrition, with absolutely abnormal, freakish amounts of food, and he derives such a conclusion.

      It is a bit freakish, but seems to support the argument that natural whole food is the most important component of ones diet.

        Yea, although it's an interesting post, I don't know what it proves.


        Especially with all the variables.


        Sure carbs *may* be less of an element, but how could we possibly know with all the other things involved?


        Lack of exercise, excessive protein, excessive fats, strange pharmaceuticals, physical and mental abuse.


        How could you possibly isolate one cause out of that?
