    Another typical Beeb boob: -

Read the article again and note this bit, about halfway down: -

In contrast to the cereal crops we rely on now for the basis of our food, the pre-farming diet contained fewer carbohydrates, less fat and more vegetables. So was it a healthier diet?

Though I'm noting they're talking paleolithic and not Primal and I do recall that Loren wossname had a problem with sat fat, so maybe that's what they're on about...

I think that's just a reflex... no-one can make a sentence with 'healthy diet' in it unless 'lower fat' is in there too. Maybe it's a symptom of grain poisoning.

I also have my doubts about

The pulses thing raised some red flags for me, as did

He cites milk as an example of something humans have adapted to over time.

"Ten thousand years ago, humans had access to milk but couldn't drink it. We couldn't digest it. Now we're 100% adapted to a milk-rich diet."
Hmmm...tell that to the 75% of adult humans who show some form of lactose intolerance! I seriously hope that quote was somehow taken out of context.
The Primal Holla! Eating fat. Getting lean. Being awesome.

I worry that it's a study being done by Unilever, a major manufacturer of all kinds of scary processed things (including SlimFast).
