  • Anybody want a good laugh today?

I can't help but shake my head! Let's feed a Rat something he isn't used to and claim the effects work the same way on humans!

Note the sign of good journalism: they make the remark that stimulus A causes one to be 'lazy and stupid.'

And OF COURSE the "high fat" diet they refer to is made up of "hot dogs, french fries and pizza"

        rawr.
The pain of discipline or the pain of regret? You choose.

Haha. It's like that study where they tried to say that fat had no effect on satiety signaling and they used a muffin as their "fat". Ridiculous. Even a 5 year old is smarter than this.

Also I dislike the term "fat" since it is vague and ambiguous. There are many different fatty acids and they have different physiological effects. You can tell that these people aren't very well-informed. I could tell that upon first reading the url in the link though.

I agree with all replies! I guess I kinda get fired up when I read stuff like this. My way of venting now is posting here and having several people comment on how rediculous it is!

A friend also reminded me of the "low-carb flu". That is probably what the issue was in the first 10 days.

What these people fail to note is that this "high-fat diet" they speak of is none other than SAD!!!!
