All the ladies around the office complain that they can't fit their fingers in the holes to get at the candy and laugh about how they all look like birds picking at the bird feeder. You think this would deter them from the candy, but no, they have begun to use a pair of tongs to get out the candy instead.

I'm glad the man left the bird feeder across from my desk. Hours of entertainment watching people with fat fingers try and get the candy, while laughing at the tong users for being so desperate for candy that you would stoop to thinking about using a tool to get it out of the container.
I'm gonna be honest. If someone did that in my office, I'd be up for the challenge. XD It sounds like fun in a messed up way...

    • Mother buying flavouring for 4 year olds milk cause she needs to drink milk.
      Why?
First response cause she's a kids
Second cause she needs the calcium
But not worried about the vit D (child plays inside all day) or the sugar & artificial sugars or flavours. :/

      • My coworkers have all been coming down with colds, one of them has literally been sick with the same cold going on three weeks now. She's the most SAD food eating person I've ever seen. She eats dry Captain Crunch for lunch, spicy Cheetos for dinner, and I can't imagine its any thing better for breakfast. She also drinks soda all day long. Polished off a three liter of Mountain Dew yesterday WHILE SICK! Can't imagine why she's not getting any better

        • While handing his (overweight) 4 yr old a drink of cordial (sugary drink), after 2 bowls of jelly (jello), states: she has reoccurring thrush, guess she is just prone to it.....

Even CW advises limited sugar intake while you have Candida :/

                It made sense to me.

It made sense to me, too. Or is this sarcasm?

Made sense to me, too, but perhaps something like the bolded addition is what oceangrl needed.

I'll never forget the time I saw a woman pushing her baby in a stroller she stopped and put soda in the baby's bottle and handed it back - like Coke or Pepsi or something. OMG, have people gone completely crazy! It made me sad and angry at the same time.

                      • So huge CW moment. Mother fell down, fractured her pelvis. She is diabetic. She gets her first meal, "regular" with eggs, french toast and syrup, orange juice, cereal and non fat milk. So we tell them she is diabetic and lactose intolerant. What does she get for lunch IN THE HOSPITAL?

Turkey on texas toast with mashed potatoes and lactose free gravy, carrots (best thing on the plate) soup with pasta and beans and fat free mayo... with it's first ingredient = corn syrup. And of course, they give her "Smart" margarine, no salt, Mrs. Dash, and sweetnlow.

She's not and refuses to eat primal. She is osteoporotic, diabetic, on cholesterol lowering drugs, and drinks 9 oz. of vodka every day.

Sigh. I don't know who's worse. My mother who won't listen or the hospital who is supposed to know better.

                          • My mum had her appendix out a few years ago and she told me they wouldn't let her leave the hospital until she ate something. They brought her a dry tuna sandwich and iceberg lettuce with Italian dressing on it. She said just the thought of that meal made her want to throw up.
