Good work! You may have gained some muscle as well, so the 10 pound of weightloss may not tell the whole story of what's going on in your body...

1st post showed a 10lb loss, this time around only 7 lbs. I still have a ways to go, but happy with progress I'm making. I started primal in August 2012, so almost at my 1 year anniversary. Hope to post another update in Sept showing what a difference a year makes!

Edit: March-present I have put most of my focus on weight lifting. Heavy weights, low reps. Pretty much dropped all 'cardio", like the boot-camp style workouts, but do a lot more slow moving activities like hiking, biking, swimming, or the fun outdoor stuff and do it for hours at a time! I have also increased my carbs from <50 to 50-100 a day.

also...pictures from photobucket still confuse me, so sorry if it's overkill of same picture!!

WOW! You look great! Good work!

Awhile back, there was a Friday Success story about a woman who was the same weight before and after, and looked completely different at the same weight. I think she was 145lbs in both pics. Truly amazing. Looking forward to your Friday Success post!

You've lost only 17 pounds, but you've gone from looking plus size and flabby to looking like an athlete with a lot of muscle and not a lot of fat. I bet you have lost closer to 40lbs of fat and just laid on muscle.

You are the poster child for why a scale is absolutely pointless.

In a way wish I would have had body fat % tested in beginning so I could have seen a number go down that meant more than scale number! At same time, it doesn't really matter, I just want to look good naked!

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you!! As a woman, I think it is so hard to not care what that scale says. I'm going to try care more about what I/pictures look like vs. what scale says from this point on.

Yeah. I think if you said "do you want to weigh 200lbs?" no woman would ever say yes. If you posted your latest photo and said "do you want to look like this" most women would say "hell yes".
